Scholarships

Whether you’re aspiring to achieve an IREM credential and/or looking to enrich your knowledge, IREM is committed to helping you reach your professional development goals. Cost doesn’t have to be an obstacle – IREM has a wide array of scholarships available to help alleviate the financial burdens associated with higher education.

IREM offers scholarship programs at the national level through the IREM Foundation. The IREM Foundation awards scholarships to qualified students at all career stages, from those currently enrolled in college to those working towards an IREM credential. IREM Chapter 92 Service Scholarship:
The purpose of this Scholarship is to promote IREM Education and Chapter Service to new and developing members.  ARM Members, ACoM Members, CPM-Candidate Members and CPM Members who have held the CPM designation for less than one year are all eligible to apply for this Scholarship.  Scholarship funds must be used within the next calendar year and may go toward any IREM class, Seminar or Conference at the Chapter, Regional or National level.  Award money may also be applied toward Chapter and National dues and/or Chapter Meeting fees.

On behalf of Chapter 92, the Past Presidents' Advisory Board (PPAB) will select and award this Scholarship annually to eligible applicants.  To be eligible, applicants will have performed one of the following in the past year:  Served or Chaired a Committee(s), Participated in IREM 92 Service or Educational Activities (i.e. PM Expo, classroom set-up, community service event) or performed a regular meeting task such as 50/50 Raffle, Greeting/Welcoming Committee etc...

This year we are excited to award this $500 Scholarship to a deserving applicant at our November General Membership Meeting that will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2012.

IREM Chapter 92 Restricted Fund Scholarships:

Are you in need of even more financial assistance to attend IREM courses and are working toward achieving your IREM designations!!??  Our Chapter actively participates in the IREM Foundation Chapter Restricted Fund where we can support chapter members toward IREM education courses exclusively.

If you are interested in learning how you can apply for these larger financial assitance funds towards your education, please contact the IREM 92 offices at 301.874.8425 OR at admin@irem92.org


Once we have identified you as a valid candidate for a Chapter 92 Restricted Fund Education Scholarship through the IREM Foundation, you will need to submit the following:

  • IREM Foundation Scholarship Application
  • A current resume
  • A personal statement addressing their financial need, interest and commitment to real estate management as a career and any accomplishments that support the application.
  • A letter of recommendation from the local IREM Chapter 92 President or other designated officer.
